Penpal Project 📝

In the previous weeks and months, I’ve been working on a project with my friend in the US! We called it “Penpal”, which is basically like what’s it called, writing letters to another friend who is half of the world away from you. Sounds cool doesn’t it?

I struggled at first when I started finding my members, I don’t even know where to recruit them. But luckily my English teacher in grade 10, Ms Rhi helped me with that. And finally I’ve got my first 5 members. We started off by writing an introduction about ourselves, also as our hobbies; to be honest, I didn’t expect much from them since they might think this project was boring, but it turned out great! They decorated the letters with small doodles and drawings, as well as neat, clean hand writings.

After that I collected their letters, which took me about 3 days since some of them were absent and couldn’t submit it. A week later, I realized that we were lack of members, so I managed to get 3 more in addition, fortunately they managed to catch up and handed me the letters in 1 DAY. Then I scanned all the letters and sent them to my best friend in the US, who is also a leader. She must be working hard over there too, we planned to start since February, but my mock test came, so we delayed it until now TvT.

Now we are waiting for the responses from our penpals, the members and getting exciting and keep asking me about it, also the matching is finished, so we can now work smoothly than at the beginning.
