Journey with the “keys”🎶

Journey with the “keys”🎶

Hi guys it’s me again! Today, I’m going to tell you some fun facts about myself. The first interesting thing about me is that I know how to play the piano.

As I remembered, it was a random day in my third grade. I came back from school and realized that there was a huge, new piano placed in the living room of my house. It was the first time I’ve seen a piano that close! Moreover, my mom told me that I’m having my first piano lesson in the next day, and I was so excited 😆.

The next day, the teacher got to my home and taught me how to play the “Jingle Bells” song at first. I was half nervous, but half excited as well since it was my first time learning how to play a classical instrument. I was confused about how to read the notes, how to control my fingers, which keys should I be placing my fingers on 🎹. But after a while of struggling, I finally got it and played the song with ease. That must be one of the moment that I am proud of myself. And of course, from that day afterwards, I was basically sticking to my piano as if it might vanish if I left it for a second. Moreover, I was invited to perform the famous song “Beautiful in white” in my teacher’s wedding! As a nine years old, I was so anxious but eager as well!

I continued learning piano for years; however, I stopped playing piano by the summer of my grade nine due to my preparation for the secondary exams. So my journey was paused for about two years until the beginning of my eleventh grade, I started practicing it again from the easiest to the hardesr song that I know. Obviously, my music tasted has been changing over time, so I prefer to play modern songs like “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran and some anime’s opening songs, rather than the classics like “Fur Elise” by Beethtoven that I learned since I was nine.

So, what about you? Do you know how to play an instrument as well? I’d love to learn how to play the violin too, but I’m afraid that I can’t play it well because it looks a bit complicated🫥. I guess I’ll stop here, see you next time! Wait for my video of practicing‼️
