Joining SEIA Club
At the beginning of the school year, I signed up for the SEIA Club, which is a Club that helps us preparing for the business competition, with my best friend. However, our names got removed from the student names list so we were not able to make it up in the first three weeks!
We were both confused and panicked when we got kicked out, despite the fact that our homeroom and business teacher have approved us to be a part of the Club in the week before. Not for that we disturbed or kept on chatting during the session, but the main reason was that we were not allowed to sign up for two different clubs that are hosted in the same day! I mean, we signed up for French session and SEIA Club, and both are hosted in Thursday, therefore we must go to French instead of SEIA. We then had a talk with the Director of the program right after being asked to leave the Club as seeking for a solution, but then we got rejected by them for the second time of the day. And all that we could do was to write a letter for the Director, more like a commitment letter, that we will ensure our French’s scores will be high when we were absent for SEIA.
A week later, we finally got approved to join SEIA again. Yet, since we’ve skipped three weeks, it was a bit difficult to be on track with the Club. The seniors handed us a case study, which I got no idea about how it works at first; nonetheless, the leaders and teachers still provide us explanations about how we will be marked in the official competition, so we will start practicing solving case studies in the upcoming session with each other, also as taking a look at how we should perform.
Stay tuned for my latest update about what we will be learning:).
