Back in the saddle!
Good afternoon everyone! I just finished my piano session today. As I’ve told you, I stopped playing piano for 4 years already, but fortunately I am back in the saddle! And the first song that I get to learn is “Beautiful in White”, which you might hear once, especially during weddings!
I first learned this song when I was in grade 5, and it has been 6 or 7 years since then. Yet for some reason, I still manage to remember some notes! Do you know, there is something called “muscle memory”, which is when your muscles remember all the move once you have practiced something multiple times, like dancing. So it only takes me about 2 hours in total to practice the whole song, kind of impressive isn’t it? It is not so difficult either, the melody is easy to memorize. Sometimes I don’t even look at the piano sheets, I just play by what my intuition is telling me to.
I will record a quick video of me playing the song for you to hear as well! For some reasons, I really enjoy playing weddings’ songs, I used to know how to play “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran, but unfortunately I forgot TvT, I will try practicing it next time. When I’m finished, I will show you for sure, so stay tune for my video recordings! I also re-playing the old anime songs that I learned, if you want to listen, I’ll record them as well.
Oh, and I am the new Treasurer of the MayFlower Foundation for Gen 3! Which is such an honor for me to play such an important part of a charity project. So everyone please support MayFlower Foundation!!
See you next time!
